I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at Columbia University, and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. My work focuses on violence, non-state/informal governance, and property rights, with a specialization in Latin America and the United States. Prior to graduate school, I worked with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace as a James C. Gaither Junior Fellow.

My work has been published or is forthcoming with the Annual Review of Political Science, npj Vaccines, PS: Political Science & Politics, and the Washington Post.
